Well it has been a week since i had time to post. I have just been on the go so much that i barely have time for myself. Lucky for me two weeks back, my LSS came out with the new "happy camper" line by imaginisce. So i bought up tons of it. When i saw the new kit posted i decided i wanted to do a whole camping theme. I must say though, with this awful weather here i am not sure how much camping we will be doing this year.
So my kit the "Happy Camper Kit", has all imainisce paper and 7 colors of 12 x 12 bazzill cardstock. the brads are stella and rose and the skunk i can't remember.
I am planning on making a mini album with this of camping for this year. Can't wait to start! Hopefully i will have some time. I have not been feeling great lately and have just become so tired i don't seem to have the energy to get off the couch. I am having test run to see what might be the cause, so hopefully i can start to feel back to my normal self soon.

Hosting a card class
As most of you know, my close friend Simone is recovering from Breast
cancer. She was diagnosed last January and went through a mastectomy
while seven months pregnant. She had a c-section one month early and
was given three weeks to recover. She then started eight rounds of
chemo and had a three week break and started five weeks of radiation,
finishing two weeks before Christmas. She had reconstruction surgery
in January of this year which she is still recovering from. Now
through all of this she has somehow managed to motivate herself to
walk for the cure in August. WOW!!!
Unable to do this with her i decided i was going to help her try to
raise some money for her walk. I am hosting a card class featuring
cards for boys and girls and men. I will be donating all of the
proceeds to Simone to help with her donations. Im doing this as a card class at my house as well as a to go kit. Everyone always asks me to do men cards and kids cards so this is what i came up with. If anyone is interested in purchasing the to go kits let me know.

Fun Box
Well this may be my final project with this months kit i made from Counterfeit kit challenge. I wish i had time to make more layouts but as we all know you can't have more than 24 hours in a day.
I found this fun box online and just loved it. I made this to put in my son's room and i am going to put some pictures of him and some of his small stuffed toys in it. I have come up with many great ideas for this basket, so i can't wait to make more.

CKC BLOG HOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the Counterfeit kit challenge blog hop! If you have come from Karen's blog your on the right track. If you would like to follow along then return to CKC and play along on the hop.
Our challenge for the blog was to choose a manufacturer and create a project using something that inspires you. Well i choose my most favorite manufacturer which is IMAGININCE. I love most of their papers. I find them fun, bright and cheerful. They seem to be great for scrapbooking or card making for kids.
So here is my inspiration from Imaginince. I found it bright and cheerful but most of all different.
What gave me the inspiration was how cute it looked. So i decided to make two cards from my may kit. The two cards are for my daughter's preschool. I felt they they could use a little something for putting up with all those three/four year old running around, hype, whining children. They do an excellent job of tiring out my four year old, so i decided they need a reward.
I love the look of the twirled paper. It gives the card some dimension and adds a lot of color.
I used my texture boutique and used a circle embossing plate on the front of the card.i then used paper that had bands of look alike stitching on it and cut small lengths of it for twirling. I drew on the gold stiching lines and added my embellishments.
So hop on over to Glinda razzledscrapper and see what manufacturer gave her inspiration.

Here is my project!
So i have finished my project that i was working on, well almost finished, i just need to put it together. Once i saw the new counterfeit kit for May i knew exactly what i wanted to do with it. I made a mini album of my daughter's first year of preschool using my "preschool patootie". I love how it turned out and some day when my daughter grows up she will love it too (I hope).
Once i started putting it together i then decided since the pages were only 8x8, i made journalling tags to avoid taking up space on the pages.
Hope you enjoy!
This is the cover of the mini album
These two pages are of her first day at school and some of the friends she played with.
These pages are of our trip to the pumpkin patch, Halloween party and Christmas party.
These are pages of 5 pin bowling and our recent trip to a farm. The last pages are of pajama day and i put in art work that was worth keeping.
And last but not least this is the back cover. I was going to stamp "handmade by" and sign it from mommy but can't find my stamp.
Let me know what you think and come back tomorrow to follow along with the counterfeit kit challenge
blog hop.
