what a day

Well today just has been a bad day. Woke up way to early with the baby but oh well figured some one on one time with him was good. Decided i need to get some scrapbook shopping done so ventured out to do that and while i was out decided to go to the grocery store. Well some where in the process i lost my wallet so for the past couple of hours i have been trying to cancel everything and figure out where my birth certificate is to go and get a new drivers license. Wow what a day.
Hopefully tomorrow can only be better.

TOOOOOO HOT!

Hard to imagine that loving summer this much is possible, but when the temperature has been in the high 90's for the past two weeks it makes life challenging with an infant and a very active toddler. Going camping for the weekend so hopefully it cools down a little.

I created this popsicle album with summer in mind. I love Summer and all the amazing fun paper out there is great. I cut out popsicles from my wishblade machine from patterned sundae and popsicle embossed paper. Added it to the cut out album and embellished with summer fun photos and lots of embellishments.

winner of the summer lovin challenge

Thanks so much for choosing me as the winner of the summer lovin contest. I had so much fun designing this album and love doing it for summer as that is my favorite time of year. I designed the popsicle on my xyron cutter, cut out 4 of them and then used double sided paper and cut that on the machine to fit on the popsicle. I added the photos and embellishments and voila i have my summer lovin album.
I can't wait to create more fun things like this.

WITHDRAWLS

Well it is 3:30 in the afternoon and both kids are asleep and i want to play in my scrapbooking room but i have so much other household work to do. I am havinf card making and scrapbooking withdrawls, anyone suggest what i can do?
My youngest is 8 months and has been teething for 3 days so not much peace and my daughter is almost 2 1/2 and sure keeps me busy. I really look forward to 7pm when they go to bed and i can get some peace and quiet and hope to be able to come to my room and create away!!!!

time flies by

it has been so long since i have found time for my blog. Our vacation to Ontario took up our time and a couple visits to the surgeon seems to be what has been filling up my time as well as two wonderful, but hectic children.
I recently was told about scrapbooking calls by a friend and had a look at it last week. They all seem so confusing to me but have found a few that interest me. I love creating anything visual with my time. I LOVE scrapbooking and love making cards as well. There is just so much information out there and so little time to read all of it and view all the millions of ideas other people create. So join me as i start this adventure is seeing what i can create and post to my site. I am very new to the blogging and posting so please bear with me

Welcome to my blog. Here you can read about my life and raising my two children. I am off on maternity leave at the moment but will probably be going back to work in the fall. Not looking forward to that as i would love to be able to stay with my kids all the time but i also enjoy working at my job.
I am an avid card maker and love sharing my ideas with anyone interested. I also have a passion for scrapbooking and have created over seven scrapbooks. It is so rewarding to be able to look back at what you designed.

Lots of work to do as we are going camping this weekend. So got to pack up and get the kids ready. Nice to have the temperature go down a little. Should make camping fun this weekend except for the baby that like to awaken at 5:30am. I wish everyone a wonderful weekend.
