Never Ending Love

Finally after trying to clean up what is suppose to be my craft room, i gave up and decided i wanted to make my Counterfeit Kit., that i named "Never Ending Love". I love looking at what we were to remake into our own kits.  Can't say lately that i have been ovelyr impressed with the kits, but it all changed when i saw these.  I wanted to do both kits but so far have only had time for one.  And the disappointing part is that i can' t even start using my kit till after valentines day because i plan on scrap booking my children's valentines events.
A couple of weeks ago i came across the tin man paper and fell in love with it.  Ultimately i think i got it because the Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie growing up.  So i knew i wanted to use it for my son so i just needed to come up with a couple other papers to go with it.  I just love red and black together!
I chose 8 papers and one paper that had everything on it.  The Maya road envelop I'm using on one of my daughter's pages to hold her valentines, hope it will do.  I didn't want a lot of embellishments  so just added some rhinestones, heart shaped doilies, three different kinds of ribbon along with the red pearl ribbon, some chipboard and quotes.
Oops, i forgot to add the letters.  I chose black letters and pink and red felt.  Can't wait to play with my kit!!!

First time using a sketch

I have for the first time decided to try using a sketch to create a layout.
I have been following creative scrappers and just love there sketches and the creative ideas that  everyone comes up with in there layouts.
I used sketch #193
I used a ballerina background paper (sorry can't remember who it is made by).  I used a pink doillie bought in a pack of 8 at Michael's.  I then embellished with stripped paper, and a soft pink rick rack ribbon.  I used a ballerina dress to embellish with flowers, rhinestones, and a reminisce sticker that says ballet class.  For my title i used a rhinestone word art from Michael's that says twinkle.  And finally, i put a photo of my daughter at her first ballet class when she was three..
I hope you enjoy.  Thanks for looking.
