CKC BLOG HOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the April Counterfeit kit challenge BLOG HOP!

The challenge that was  given at The counterfeit kit challenge blog this month was to counterfeit a member of the design team. I chose to counterfeit this beautiful  layout by Margie Visnick at  http://scrappinmargie.blogspot.com/
 I loved the use of the canvas.  Her colors and  simplicity of the layout, I thought were fabulous.  So I was inspired to use the canvas for an Easter layout.
I took the kids to see the Easter bunny but as usual my son became afraid when it was time to snap the picture.  Hopefully next year! The paper to put the actual layout on, was my hardest decision.  I then cut out the grass for the border and curled it.  I then added eggs I cut out and put them in the border of grass.
I then added two feathers to make it look like a bunny in the grass.  I fussy cut birds from the patterned paper and used another sheet to cut out a border to apply to the top of the frame.  I then added flower stickers in the grass.

For the final touches I added the canvas and the so sweet tag and finished it off with pearlized bling.

    Love the grass..curling it really gives it dimension! Using the feathers to suggest a bunny was a great idea. Liked the use of the canvas!

    I cannot believe all the little details in your layout. What a beautiful creation. I too, like the fabric touch! I think the grass looks great too :)

    The curled grass border is a great touch. The little eggs and birdies are so sweet. Very pretty layout.

    Aww, what a sweet layout! I love all the little embellishments. I especially love those three little birdies floating on the side of the picture. Overall I Love it! Great take on the inspiration layout!
