Wow, can't believe it is Wednesday again. I missed two weeks from here. Just was not feeling very well. Now I'm doing a bit better and wanting to get into the swing of things. So here what is on my desk. I have been busy trying to catch up on scrapbooking. I was about two and a half years behind with the kids and thought i was getting it done but realized I'm missing a years worth of photos. And too make matters worse, my computer with the photos on them has crashed.
This weekend I'm attending an all day crop and what am i going to work on. If your new to this take a visit over at the wonderful Julia's stamping ground to follow along with all the wonderful blog hoppers.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Oh dear, to lose photographs like that is a MAJOR disaster. Hope you can find them again.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your crop, am sure you will find something to do.

Do not panic, it is unlikely that your photos are lost for ever. You just need someone who REALLY knows what they are doing and they can take the drive out of your computer and recover your photos for you. I had a portable drive crash, and I recovered over 80% of what was on it, using free programs from the internet. It takes a lot to completely trash a computer drive. thank you for visiting me and for your lovely comments. Hope your crop goes well and that you find someone to get your photos back for you. xx Maggie #17
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better now, this winter has been hard as it never really killed the bugs off. Maggie is right about the hard drive, you should be able to recover the photos, hope you get it sorted. Enjoy the crop too.

good luck with your pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better and hope you can find those photos! Thanks for the peek.
ReplyDeleteSorry to disappoint you with only a naked (yikes!) card on my desk, instead of an obscenely messy desk or picture of the male of the species!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame about your photos. Hope you manage to find them somewhere.
Happy WOYWW

Aw bless you; hope you're feeling better. I don't scrapbook chronologically, so wouldn't have noticed the photo gap - but I'm sure they can be found somehow..our geek has recovered all sorts for us, take heart!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. Hope you get your pics sorted. x Jo
ReplyDeleteHope you get your photos back. I'm always promising myself to back up my files then forget but I'm sure they are lurking somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by and for saying nice things about my little black and white book - appreciated lots.

Oh my goodness, I really hope you get your computer sorted out soon. The thought of losing photos brings me out in a rash *shivers*
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, it's good to be back!

Your desk looks so tidy! Sophie's layout looks fab but I think those Scottish dancers shouldn't have to be tucked away in the back wall. Let them out to dance girl. They want to dance on a beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteYour little castle is so cute! I love the stickles on the clouds. I hope you manage to get all the photos sorted.
ReplyDeleteOh how annoying about your photos! My Mum still curses Boots for losing films of me when I was little so we have very few photos of me much before 3 - I wont say how many years ago that was!
ReplyDeleteGet yourself an external hard drive and save your photos on at the end of each month. Hide it away from your computer so it doesn't get damaged. I had my laptop stolen and our main PC went down (not at the same time) and fortunately I only lost a few!! Phew! Perhaps I am a bit paranoid after my Mum's episode!
That cover will hopefully be a book by the weekend!
Really terrible about your computer. I have all of my art and family photos on this computer, think I should get an external hard drive, just wouldn't know how to do it (thanks heavens for teenagers).
ReplyDeleteThat is an impressive cutter on your desk, heaps better than my naughty one.
Have a great week.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice busy desk Lisa and a colourful LO you’re working on.
ReplyDeleteYou were asking if the car on my card is a stamp…….It’s a Crafty Individuals stamp.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a good week (what’s left of it)
Happy Crafting!

I'm late so I hope you are feeling better by now. Sorry to hear about your computer crash. However, I believe that it's possible to retrieve lost stuff from your hard drive even after it has crashed ... you just have to find someone who's an expert at that sort of thing. Thank you for your visit and comment, have a lovely weekend and enjoy the crop. Elizabeth x #11
ReplyDeleteHope you manage to get your photos back - that must be awful for you - something I dread. I love your workspace - it all looks very welcoming and ready to start work in. Thanks for sharing, and also for popping over to my work desk.
ReplyDeleteOh shame, I hope the photos aren't totally gone and you can recover them somehow... think it is one of a scrappers worst nightmare.
ReplyDeleteOh no, hope you get your photos back. Good luck with scrapbooking I think I am about 5 years behind with mine now!
