It's been a long week

Well not only has it been a long week, i see it has been almost a year since i have posted on here. Can't really blame it on much of anything, guess i just got too caught up in everyday life.
My husband left for Germany January 14, and boy does it feel like a life time ago. He is away on training in Germany for the next 6 weeks and does not return home until February 26th. My loving 2 year old son and almost 4 year old daughter have made it feel like a lifetime that he had been gone. I think they have collaborated together on seeing who can aggravate mommy more and they both are winning at that.
That being said i have some spare time in the evenings which has allowed me to catch up on scrapbooking and somewhat reorganizing my scrap room. I am planning on painting it and putting in a new counter top and doing reorganizing throughout the room. Yippppeeee!
I started decorating for parties last summer and would love to do it as a business. I find it a way to combine my love of throwing a party and my creative sense to come up with something different and unique.I did a tinkerbell tea party for my daughter. I made tulle skirts and all the decorations and they even had "pixie dust" (cake sprinkles) for designing their own cupcakes. The other party was a princess party for a friends daughter birthday. Most decorations were done by me and the cakes were done by my friend and they turned out fabulous. So have a look through some of my photos and leave me a comment on what you think.

BAD NEWS

HI all
Sorry it has been so long since i posted on here but i have a really good frind of mine just get diagnosed with breast cancer and is pregnant as well with her third baby. So i have been a little occupied by that.
I've been wishing lately that i could find the time to sit and do some scrapbooking but just been so busy. Went to Las Vegas last week and had a wonderful time wish i could go back!
I'm in the process of finishing up a gift for my friend when the baby comes so i will post some pictures. Hopefully i can get time to take the photos.

Baby albums for my sister

Well i was busy a while back and have finally had time to post the two albums i made and put in the diaper cake i made for her for her baby shower.. I enjoyed making these two albums and think they turned out pretty good. She had a baby boy on December 21 and has already filled the albums. One is a onesie that i cut out using my xyron wishblade. I then decorated them with footballs as the theme for her shower was football. The second album was a sleeper that i did in blue and just decorated for a little boy.
I then made a diaper cake using diapers for the bottom layer and then made her receiving blankets that became the second layer. I added a couple wrist toys and some outfits and then put the albums on either side and wrapped it up.
Wish i had made some of these before my son was born but just never had time.
Anyways, i had a busy day with the kids today and now i am exhausted. Need to get some sleep before work tomorrow.

Finished scraproom!

Well i finally got the scrapbook room just about organized,at least enough to get pictures taken.
Most everything is labeled and put in areas that hopefully i will be able to find. The only thing i would change would be to have paper racks but not too sure where i would have room.
I am really excited to be done. I look forward to hopefully being able to finish some ongoing projects and do so much needed scrapbooking on my kids albums. Not to mention all the wonderful cards i'm making. Not too sure where i am going to find the time, with two young kids and working part time, i just never seem to have the time.

Mini scrapbook albums

Well i have been busy in the scrapbook room this week trying to finish two baby albums for friends as shower gifts. Hard to do a themed album as i made one that was cowboys and dogs. The other album is just a baby album for her third baby. They sure were fun, but looking forward to do scrapbooking for my own two kids.
The room is still in the "reconstructing stages". I am slowly getting organized and at times i am to organized as i cannot find things i have put away frustrating!!!! But i promise to get pictures up soon.
Better go and get some rest. Off to the hospital in the morning to see why i am having some urine trouble post surgery three weeks ago. PLEASE LEAVE ME COMMENTS!
